For recruiting and job ads
Tell us in one minute
who you are.
A cover letter tells you who writes well. A voice message tells you who is actually there. With the Speeeak widget applicants introduce themselves right inside your job ad – one minute, by voice, no app.

Why one minute of voice says more than two pages
How someone speaks, whether they enjoy the subject, how they explain things – none of that is in a CV. One minute of voice holds more than any cover letter.
A cover letter costs an evening. A voice message costs a minute, straight from the ad, on the phone too. The barrier drops.
Twenty one-minute messages take twenty minutes. Then you know who you want to talk to – before a single CV is on the table.
How it works
- Add the widget. One line of code in the job ad – inline, right under the job description. Take the “Application” template, adjust the colour, done.
- The applicant speaks. Read “Tell us in one minute who you are”, press the mic, talk. Name and e-mail are required, the subject names the position. Anyone with a finished recording uploads it as an audio file. The CV comes later by e-mail – if you want to see it.
- You listen and reply. The message lands in your Speeeak Inbox, with an e-mail notification if you like. Listen, reply by voice – a spoken interview invitation is the best first impression.
Tip: Ask a concrete question in the widget text: “What was the last problem you enjoyed solving?” Nobody answers that with clichés.
Use this template
Texts, fields, colour and display style are prepared – adjust name and colour, copy one line of code into your website, done.
Take the template into my account Step-by-step setup
Free account: 1 widget with Speeeak link. Pro: 5 widgets, Speeeak link can be switched off.
What you do with the messages
- Make a shortlist: subject and name sort by position. Listen, mark, decide who you talk to.
- Reply by voice: invitation, follow-up question or rejection – spoken, it all sounds more personal. The applicant hears you in the browser, no account needed.
- Read as text: from Plus up, every message can come with a transcript – to pass on to the hiring team.
- Privacy: write the consent text in the widget yourself, link to your privacy policy, delete link for the applicant, servers in the EU, data processing agreement in one click (Art. 28 GDPR). Depending on the plan, messages expire after 7 days, 90 days or one year – or you delete them earlier.
Frequently asked questions
Do applicants need an app or an account?
No. The widget runs in the browser – on the phone and on the desktop. Allow the mic, speak, send.
Can applicants upload their CV?
Not via the widget – the file upload only accepts audio files, e.g. an introduction recorded at home. You ask for the CV later, when the interview is coming up. That keeps the first step small.
What about privacy for applicant data?
You write the consent text in the widget yourself and link your privacy policy. You sign the data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR with one click in your account. The applicant gets a delete link; you can delete messages at any time. Anything specific to your process is for your data protection officer – Speeeak provides the tools, not legal advice.
What does it cost?
The free account includes one widget with Speeeak link, 30 messages per month and 7 days of availability. Pro (€19/month) has five widgets, 300 messages, 90 days, transcription and no Speeeak link. All limits are on the pricing page.
