Where the two differ
With SpeakPipe you can only reply if the sender left an e-mail address. With Speeeak anyone replies by voice through the listen link – no address, no account.
Speeeak stores on servers in the EU and signs the data processing agreement in one click. On SpeakPipe’s privacy page we found no statement about server location.
SpeakPipe is aimed at podcasts: listener mail, voicemail page, hooks into newsletter services. Speeeak is a tool for voice messages in general – from the widget to the link without an account.

Fair is fair: SpeakPipe has been in use since at least 2012, offers far more storage on paid plans (50 GB and 500 GB) and can add senders directly to lists at Mailchimp, ConvertKit, ActiveCampaign and others. If that is what you need, that is the right place.

Where Speeeak is ahead
- Replies without a hurdle: the listener speaks back through the link – no e-mail address, no account. SpeakPipe needs an address for that.
- Privacy in Europe: servers in the EU, data processing agreement in one click, consent text in the widget written by you, delete link for the speaker.
- Widget in your language: your visitors see the widget in German or English. SpeakPipe is English only according to its FAQ.
- More than a website: voice message as a link without an account, voice card for e-mail and social, landing page with your logo and buttons.
How to switch
- Create an account. Free, with one widget. Pick a template, set colour and fields, write your consent text.
- Swap the script line. SpeakPipe line out, Speeeak line in – via WordPress plugin, React component or any “custom code” field.
- Save old messages. SpeakPipe lets you download audio files. Upload them to Speeeak if you want to keep using them.
Frequently asked questions
What does switching cost?
Nothing. The free Speeeak account has one widget with Speeeak link and 30 messages per month. Pro (€19/month) has five widgets, transcription and no Speeeak link.
Does the widget run on WordPress?
Yes, via plugin with shortcode or block. All other platforms via the script line. Your site must run on HTTPS – the same applies to SpeakPipe.
Can my listeners talk longer than with SpeakPipe?
Free up to 2 minutes, Plus 5, Pro 10, Business 15. SpeakPipe allows 90 seconds free, 5 minutes on Gold, 10 on Premium. With both, the maximum depends on device, browser and connection.
What about newsletter integration?
Speeeak doesn’t have it. Name and e-mail address land in your inbox with the message; from Business there are API and webhooks. If you want senders added to a mailing list automatically, SpeakPipe serves you better.
