Skool is deliberately minimal: no custom code, no widgets, no embeds of third-party services except video. Honestly, that means the Speeeak widget won’t fit inside Skool. What works is a link – to your Speeeak landing page or to the widget on your own website. Members tap it, speak, done.

What’s possible in Skool – and what isn’t

No custom code

According to its own help centre, Skool has no block for HTML or scripts and only embeds video (YouTube, Vimeo, Loom and Wistia among others). A recording widget can’t run there. Anyone promising otherwise hasn’t tried it.

Links everywhere

Links work in posts, comments and on classroom course pages. On top there’s the Links plugin: up to three fixed links on the group card (Skool’s Pro plan, as of October 2026).

Landing page instead of widget

Your Speeeak landing page is a page of its own with logo, colour, text and microphone. Members speak there, you reply by voice. No account, no app – just the link.

How to go about it

  1. Create a landing page, or put the widget on your website. In your Speeeak account, create a landing page (from Plus): sender name, a heading like “Speak your question to me”, colour, privacy link. Copy the address – or create a short link for it. If you have your own website, you can add the widget there instead and link to that page.
  2. Place the link in Skool. In a pinned post (“Speak your questions for the next call here”), in the description of a classroom page below the video, or permanently via Settings → Plugins → Links on the group card. Say what happens: “Opens a page with a microphone, 1 minute, no account needed.”
  3. Listen and reply. The messages land in your Speeeak Inbox, with an e-mail notification if you like. Reply by voice – the sender gets your answer via the same link. No entry under “Allowed websites” is needed for the landing page.

Tip: A bare link explains nothing. The sentence before it makes the difference: “Tap and talk for 30 seconds” gets more clicks than a bare address.

Use this template

Texts, fields, colour and display style are prepared – adjust name and colour, copy one line of code into your website, done.

Take the template into my account Step-by-step setup

Free account: 1 widget with Speeeak link. Pro: 5 widgets, Speeeak link can be switched off.

What you do with it

  • Questions for live calls: a pinned post with the link, you listen to all questions beforehand and sort them.
  • Course feedback: the link under the last lesson of a module – “What did you take away?” From Plus, the transcript comes along.
  • Testimonials: members speak about what changed for them – with a consent text for publishing on your sales page.
  • Privacy: consent on the landing page, your privacy and imprint links, delete link for the sender, servers in the EU, data processing agreement in one click.

Frequently asked questions

Can’t I squeeze the widget into Skool somehow?

No. Skool has no field for HTML or scripts, and embeds are limited to video. A link is the only way – and it works well if you say what happens behind it.

What do members see when they open the link?

Your landing page: logo, colour, your text, a microphone. They speak, optionally give name and e-mail, and receive your reply via the same link.

Do members need a Speeeak account?

No. Speaking and listening work without an account and without an app, on the phone and on the desktop.

What does it cost?

The landing page is available from Plus (€4.90/month, one landing page, 100 messages, short links). Pro (€19/month) has five landing pages with lead form and a removable Speeeak link. The free account includes one widget for your own website.

Skool is a trademark of its respective owner. Speeeak is not affiliated with this provider.
