For online courses and coaching

What’s unclear to you
in this lesson?

The best question comes right after the video – not three days later in the comment box. With the Speeeak widget your participants speak their question under the lesson, and you reply by voice. No app, no detour via e-mail.

Why spoken questions work better in a course

Asked in the moment

The “Question about this lesson” button sits right under the video. Whoever gets stuck presses it and talks – instead of postponing the question and forgetting it.

You hear where it sticks

“At minute 6, where you change the aperture, I don’t get why …” – with voice, the spot, the tone and the uncertainty come along. That tells you more than “don’t understand aperture”.

A reply like 1:1 coaching

You reply by voice via the link. Two minutes of talking instead of a page of typing – and the participant hears that you took the time.

How it works

  1. Add the widget. One line of code under the lesson video – inline, with the button “Question about this lesson”. For WordPress there are plugin, shortcode and block; any other course platform takes the script line in the “Custom code” or “Embed” field.
  2. The participant speaks. Press the button, read “What’s unclear to you in this lesson?”, talk, send. The lesson goes into the subject field – e.g. “Lesson 4” – so you can file the question.
  3. You reply. The question lands in your Speeeak Inbox, with an e-mail notification if you like. Listen, reply by voice. The participant hears you in the browser, no account needed.

Tip: If three participants don’t understand the same spot, the problem isn’t the question – it’s the lesson. The spoken questions are your most honest feedback on the course.

Use this template

Texts, fields, colour and display style are prepared – adjust name and colour, copy one line of code into your website, done.

Take the template into my account Step-by-step setup

Free account: 1 widget with Speeeak link. Pro: 5 widgets, Speeeak link can be switched off.

What you do with the questions

  • Reply individually: by voice via the link, whenever it suits you. In coaching programmes this replaces the e-mail ping-pong between sessions.
  • Improve lessons: questions that pile up show you where an example or an extra video is missing.
  • Read as text: from Plus up, every message can come with a transcript – good for skimming before the next live session.
  • Privacy: write the consent text in the widget yourself, link to your privacy policy, delete link for the participant, servers in the EU, data processing agreement in one click.

Frequently asked questions

Do my participants need an app or an extra account?

No. The widget runs in the browser of your course page. Allow the mic, speak, send – on the phone and on the desktop.

One widget per lesson – is the account enough for that?

A widget belongs to a website, not to a page. You embed the same line under every lesson; the subject tells you where the question comes from. The free account has one widget with Speeeak link, Pro (€19/month) has five widgets for five websites without Speeeak link.

How long can a question be?

Up to 2 minutes on the free account, up to 10 on Pro. The maximum length depends on device, browser and connection. One minute is almost always enough for a lesson question.

How many questions fit into a month?

Free 30 messages per month, Plus 100, Pro 300, Business 1,000 – your own and widget messages combined. All limits are on the pricing page.
