For podcasts

Listener mail you can
simply play on air.

An e-mail has to be read out. A voice message gets played. With the Speeeak widget your listeners speak their questions right on your website – no app, no account, in their own voice.

Why spoken listener mail sounds better

Ready to air

You get an MP3, not an e-mail. The question runs in the episode in the listener’s own voice – it sounds like a conversation, not like reading aloud.

Low barrier

No voice memo to record, no attachment, no address to look up. Press the tab, talk, send. It takes a minute.

Everything in one place

No more questions scattered across e-mail, Instagram and comments. Every message lands in your Speeeak Inbox, with subject and timestamp.

How it works

  1. Add the widget. One line of code on your podcast website – as a tab on the edge, visible on every page. Take the “Listener mail” template, adjust the colour, done.
  2. The listener speaks. Tap “Listener mail”, read “Your question for the show”, press the mic, talk. A subject field assigns the question to an episode. Anyone who prefers to send a finished recording uploads it as a file.
  3. You collect and play. The messages sit in your Inbox. Listen, download, cut them into the episode. Or reply to the listener by voice – people love that.

Tip: Mention the way in every episode: “Questions welcome via the listener-mail tab on our site.” Once people have heard it three times, they use it.

Use this template

Texts, fields, colour and display style are prepared – adjust name and colour, copy one line of code into your website, done.

Take the template into my account Step-by-step setup

Free account: 1 widget with Speeeak link. Pro: 5 widgets, Speeeak link can be switched off.

What you do with the messages

  • Cut them into the episode: download the MP3, drag it into your editor, done. You see tone and length beforehand.
  • Sort the questions: subject and name help you file them – e.g. “Episode 42” or “Topic request”.
  • Read them as text: from Plus up, every message can come with a transcript. Handy for show notes and prep.
  • Privacy: write the consent text in the widget yourself (“You may play my question in the episode”), delete link for the listener, servers in the EU, data processing agreement in one click.

Frequently asked questions

Do my listeners need an app or an account?

No. The widget runs in the browser – on the phone and on the desktop. Allow the mic, speak, send.

May I play the recordings in the episode?

Only with consent. That’s why you write the consent text in the widget yourself, e.g. “You may use my voice in your podcast”. The consent is stored with the message. If in doubt about the wording for your case, check with someone who knows the rules.

How long can a listener question be?

Up to 2 minutes on the free account, up to 10 on Pro. The maximum length depends on device, browser and connection. One minute is usually enough for a question – and shorter questions are easier to cut in.

What does it cost?

The free account includes one widget with Speeeak link and 30 messages per month. Pro (€19/month) has five widgets, 300 messages, transcription and no Speeeak link. All limits are on the pricing page.
