Why a link beats the app’s voice feature
In your profile text, in the first message, in apps without voice notes, on Instagram or by e-mail – anywhere a link fits.
The message doesn’t sit in someone else’s chat history. It expires after 7 days by itself, and you can delete it any time before that.
The other person hears you in the browser. No WhatsApp number, no app, nothing to install – on either side.
How it works
- Record. Press the mic, talk, stop. Listen first, then decide – nothing leaves your phone until you press “Create link”.
- Link into the chat. Copy the short link and paste it. The other person taps it and hears you – on a calm page without ads.
- Reply by voice. Whoever heard you can talk right back. No account needed.
Bumble, Hinge and Lovoo have their own voice notes in the chat – after the match. Tinder doesn’t. The Speeeak link works before the match, outside the app, and stays under your control: delete link instead of chat history.
What happens to my recording?
- It is stored encrypted on servers in the EU, reachable only via the link.
- After 7 days it is deleted automatically – free, no account.
- You get a delete link: one click and it’s gone immediately.
- No ads, no tracking on the listening page. Whoever has the link hears only you.
Frequently asked questions
Can the other person see my number or my name?
No. The listening page shows only your message and – if you want – a name you type yourself. No number, no e-mail address, no profile.
What if I regret the message?
Click the delete link. Gone. The file is deleted, not just hidden.
Does the app allow links in the chat?
Most do. Some apps filter links in the very first message – send a “Hi” first and the link afterwards. The short link is short enough for any profile.
Do I need an account?
No. Without an account: up to 2 minutes, available for 7 days. With Plus (€4.90/month) up to 5 minutes, 90 days and an overview of all your messages.
