What the widget does

Five styles

Inline at a fixed spot in the text, as a floating pill, as a pill with a pop-up window, as a tab on the edge of the page or as a round button. You set colour and text.

Your fields, your wording

Name, e-mail, subject – each field on or off, required or optional. Plus a consent text in your own words, your privacy link, optional file upload, thank-you text and redirect.

Inbox with replies

Every message lands in your Speeeak inbox, with e-mail notification and transcript if you like. You reply by voice – the sender hears you in the browser.

Step by step

  1. Create the widget. In your account create a widget: choose the style, set the colour, define fields and consent text, enter your privacy link. Add your website as an allowed address – the widget won’t run on other sites.
  2. Add the script line. Copy one `<script>` line. WordPress: plugin with shortcode or block. React: ready-made component. Wix, Squarespace, Jimdo, Webflow, Shopify and everything else: paste it into the field for custom code (“Custom Code”, “Embed”).
  3. Listen and reply. Visitors press the mic, speak, send. You listen in your inbox, read the transcript (from Plus) and reply by voice.

Tip: Put a concrete question above the widget – “What’s holding you up right now?” instead of “Leave us a message”. Concrete questions get longer answers.

The example above shows a real widget in a small website. It runs on the phone and on the desktop, in the browser, no app. Typical spots: contact page, thank-you page after purchase, members area, course platform, question page for your podcast – wherever visitors want to say something but don’t like typing.

Privacy: keeping it clean

  • Consent in the widget: you write the text yourself. The checkbox is stored with the message.
  • Your privacy link: the widget links to your privacy policy, not someone else’s.
  • Data processing agreement in one click: processing under Art. 28 GDPR, signed in your account.
  • Servers in the EU: recordings sit on servers in the EU. No ads, no tracking on the listen page.
  • Delete link for the speaker: whoever records something for you can delete the message again themselves.

How long can visitors speak?

Free up to 2 minutes, Plus 5, Pro 10, Business 15. The maximum depends on device, browser and connection. On the phone the widget runs in the browser, no app.
